**My View on English-Taught College Classes**

I agree with the idea of using English to teach college classes. I have two reasons for thinking this way. First, learning in English will help students in the future. Many good jobs and top universities around the world use English. If students learn their major subjects in English at college, they will feel more confident working or studying abroad later. Second, this is a great way to really learn English. In regular English class, we only learn grammar and vocabulary. But if we use English to learn something else, like computer science or business, we will learn it faster and better. We have to use it for real communication. Some people might worry about understanding difficult topics, but I think the good points are much more important.

If my future university uses English to teach important classes, I will make a good plan to get ready. Before school starts, I will learn key English words about my major. I can make word lists or use apps to study them. During class, I will listen very carefully and write down the main ideas. I won't try to write down every word. I will also ask questions when I don't understand, either right in class or by talking to the teacher later. A very good idea is to study with friends. We can explain the lessons to each other and share notes. This way, we help each other learn. I will watch English videos about my subjects online, too. It might be hard at first, but I believe I can do it if I practice every day. This is not just a problem, but a chance to improve both my English and my knowledge together.

**My Thoughts on English-Taught College Courses**

I do not fully agree with using English to teach all college subjects. I worry about two main problems. First, students may not learn the subject deeply enough. If the teacher explains difficult ideas—like in physics, law, or history—in English, students who are not very good at English will have to work much harder. They must try to understand the English words and the difficult ideas at the same time. This could make them feel stressed, stop asking questions, and actually learn less about the subject. Second, it might make our own language and culture seem less important. If only English is used in important classes, students may start to think that knowledge in English is better than knowledge in their own language. College should help students think deeply and learn their major well. If English makes that harder, then it is not a good idea.

If my future college still requires some classes in English, I will try my best to adapt. My most important goal will be to truly understand the subject, not just the English. I will use Chinese textbooks and online videos to study the same topics at home, so I can make sure I really understand the ideas. I will also form a study group with classmates who speak Chinese. We can discuss the lessons in Chinese after class, which will help everyone understand better. During English lectures, I will focus on the teacher’s slides, notes, and examples, not only the spoken words. I will write down questions and ask the teacher during office hours or after class. I know my English may not be perfect, but I will use Chinese to support my learning. This way, I can still learn my major well, even if the class is in English.
